Setup guide

Connect LeadDemon to HubSpot.

This guide covers installation, CRM gap runs, disconnection, and removal. LeadDemon requests read-only access to HubSpot companies.

Before you start

  • You need an active LeadDemon account or administrator-granted demo access.
  • You must be a HubSpot Super Admin or have permission to install Marketplace apps and approve the requested company scope.
  • LeadDemon requests oauth and crm.objects.companies.read.

Step 1

Install the integration

  1. Sign in to LeadDemon and open Account.
  2. In the HubSpot section, select Connect HubSpot.
  3. Select the HubSpot account you want to compare against.
  4. Review the requested read-only company permission, then select Connect app.
  5. HubSpot returns you to LeadDemon, where the connected portal appears on the Account page.

Step 2

Configure a CRM gap run

  1. Return to run setup and choose CRM gap analysis.
  2. Describe the companies you want to find and add the relevant search and service terms.
  3. Select the geography and source coverage.
  4. Choose the connected HubSpot account as the CRM baseline.
  5. Review the run estimate. Paid providers require a separate explicit cost approval before any provider requests begin.

Step 3

Use the results

LeadDemon reads the current HubSpot company set, normalizes company names and domains, and compares those records with validated prospects. When the run finishes, review the likely net-new and holdout outputs before downloading the HubSpot-ready CSV.

LeadDemon does not automatically create, update, or delete records in HubSpot.

Disconnect HubSpot from LeadDemon

  1. Open the LeadDemon Account page.
  2. In the HubSpot section, select Disconnect.
  3. Reconnect at any time by selecting Connect HubSpot.

Disconnecting removes LeadDemon's stored OAuth connection and prevents new HubSpot company snapshots. Existing HubSpot records are unchanged. Previously generated LeadDemon run outputs remain available under the account's normal retention and deletion controls.

Uninstall from HubSpot

  1. In HubSpot, open Settings, then Integrations and Connected Apps.
  2. Select LeadDemon, choose Actions, and select Uninstall.
  3. Confirm the uninstall in HubSpot.

Uninstalling revokes HubSpot authorization. It does not delete or modify HubSpot company records. To request deletion of LeadDemon account data or prior run outputs, contact mitchell@winklytics.com.
